I came up with an idea to be a Geek Goddess for Halloween this year and want to get started on making a costume, but I only got as far as naming it... does anyone have any ideas on how I can pull this off?

hi everyone.  hopefully someone can help me.

i just got a hot water bottle (infections in both ears, apparently it's supposed to help  ) but need some sort of cover for one.  after searching craftster and google, all i can find are knitting patterns.  the problem?  i can't knit to save my life.  does anyone have any ideas?  i can sew a little bit, but i'd want to take the easiest possible route.

please help!!
