51  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / When should an organizer post feedback on: October 03, 2006 12:21:03 PM
hey everyone - question for other swap organizers out there:

first of all, when do you mark someone's feedback as COMPLETE?  do you do it when their package is received by their partner?  or when they are finished sending and receiving?  i ask because once their package has been received by their partner, their obligation is done, even if the rest of the swap is complete.  what are your thoughts?

as a second question, or maybe an addendum to the first, when do you put your own (as organizer) feedback as COMPLETE?  When everyone's received and all other feedback has been given?  What about when you've already sent?

Here's my problem - i am organizing two swaps and participating in three others.  i have sent for one of the swaps i'm organizing and one that i'm not, and the packages have both been received.  i would like to sign up for more swaps, and feel that i can handle finishing organization on the swap i've sent for as well as a brand new swap.  ...hopefully that all makes sense.  so what do i do?  just wait until all the swap activity is done for the ones i'm organizing?  is it legal to mark myself as complete, since i've already sent my package for the swap i'm organizing?

any suggestions or thoughts would be appreciated...

54  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Classic Tattoo Swap? on: September 15, 2006 04:47:33 PM
Would anybody be interested in a classic, sailor jerry-type tattoo swap?  Seems like there could be a ton of craftiness to make with this kind of design/decor, and i love to look at the old tats.

anybody???
55  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / When to Start Feedback? on: September 07, 2006 08:51:46 PM
Hey guys,

as a first-time organizer, i've got a question:  At what point do I use the Swap Feedback Form to mark participants as In Progress?  Do I do it as soon as the member is approved?  Do I wait until sign ups are over?  Help!

Thanks!

58  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Sex and the City Swap, Round ___? on: July 30, 2006 09:14:14 PM
I know the show's ended and all, but I still love it - would anyone be interested in another round of a Sex and the City swap?
59  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Initial Swap on: July 29, 2006 09:41:17 AM
Being a big fan of the initial craze awhile back (purses, shirts, pins, etc. with first initials on them), I'd love to have craftier versions of all of these things - these could be first initials or monograms....

Anyone else interested?  There is a lot of potential here.
60  Washington / Washington: Southeast / Moving to Kennewick... on: June 02, 2006 04:25:29 PM
Any fellow crafters in the tri-city area?  I'm moving down in early July and will be all by my lonesome... I'm going to need the heads-up on activities, places to buy supplies, and possibly crafting buddies!
