I love it!  I'm hesitant to use it as a purse just because I'm so rough on them and I want this to last!  To be honest, I just want to frame it  XD  Will probably be a craft bag instead.  I'm less rough on those!

This song always gets me.  The hearts are for my crafting pleasure.  This is great because I really wanted to start a jar filled with hearts!

Well, first off I'd like to say a quick hello.  This is my first post, and my first craft challenge.  yarn_tart got me here 

I'm sorry to say, I don't really have any pictures of the construction process, it was done over a few days and I just didn't think to take pictures >.<  So, without further ado, my shoe fountain!







The idea actually started out when yarn_tart and I were at the thrift store looking for cheap yarn.  She mentioned the craft challenge to me and pointed out a pair of children's rain boots.  I said it'd be cool to do a fountain with them...being water and all.  When we went back, they weren't there, but I found a really cute pair of green kids flip-flops and that inspired this rendition of the fountain.  Many more pairs of flip flops were bought at wal-mart and kmart and other cheap places.  Then we disassembled a fountain we had, drilled some holes in a birdbath, filled it with water...layered the shoes and added some rocks and shells we had collected.
