21  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / An idea for toilet paper rolls. on: April 16, 2006 07:38:31 PM
I haven't tried this yet, but theroretically it could work.
1. Get the toilet paper roll.
2. Cut off about 1/2 to 1 inch from each end.
You should now have two circle hoops.
3. Use your favorite color of acrylic paint and paint inside and out.
4. Allow paint to completely dry.
5.Glue on some cute buttons, beads, or cover with glue and glitter.
6. Attach some metal earring pieces, and now you have funky hoop earrings. :3

If I were to hot glue felt to cotton, would this stay even in the heat of the dryer and the heat or rough cycle of the wash?
