you could get three different jeans and create a tiered effect. Maybe even have a little bit of each layer's hem lines seem distressed for effect. Try to get three different jeans colors for added effect. Try not to do a "from lighter to darker" deal, it's far too overused. Just try say a sandblasted denim, a dark denim, and a bleached denim. Go for effect.

If I were to hot glue felt to cotton, would this stay even in the heat of the dryer and the heat or rough cycle of the wash?
