I got my package from gsdbooks! (there's closeups on my flickr)

Here's the list:
- Felted knitting basket, which will be put to good use
- 3 crochet hooks
- 16" Circulars
- A crochet hook roll, made with cool Hawaiian inspired fabrics
- 2 balls of blue cotton blend yarn
- 1 ball of Manos Del Uruguay yarn <33
- 2 types of candy one of which I have already started to devour
- The book Vogue Knitting: Bags Two, with some gorgeous patterns
- Printouts of 2 patterns, one of a bag and one of a shrug

THANK YOU STEPHANIE!

I received my package from purpleone! She claimed me for fabric belts, but also sent some candy (which I have finished by the time I am posting this) and two BEAUTIFUL beads! I also love the two fabrics that she used (did you stalk me or what???). The three kawaii paper bags in pic 1 are what the goodies came in.

Thank you!

Very nice stuff everyone! Chain smoking is smokin', indeed.

I received a wisty surprises package from the littlest ninja 2 days ago. She sent me 2 necklaces and a brooch:

Aren't they pretty?  Grin The coral/turquoise one happened to match the bright blue polo I was wearing when I got it, and I put it on immediately.

Because these were surprises, I didn't know I was getting the rainbow necklace, and was claimed for it in another claim, but the more the merrier I suppose!

I received these two packages quite a while ago, but never got to posting them here, so here they are finally:

A tatted bracelet in blues, greens, and purples from sewknitter! Did it as a side to Sweat Shoppe Swap 8 (I sent her a felted crochet hook holder). Isn't it pretty?

The second package has quite an interesting story: Dulcinea was despairing over what to do with her Yoda pez dispenser on a Shop The Swap discussion thread (that's a great swap, btw), when I swooped in and said, "Give it to me!" And so she did!

Here is Yoda approving of the new Craftster layout Smiley
He talks, too! In return, I sent Amy some 6x6" pieces for her Craftster afghan, and a knitted washcloth.

Thanks ladies Cheesy

I'm SO SORRY for the huge delay in posting pics! I received gala_apples' journal set first and still haven't posted any pics. Well, here they are, along with the other items that I haven't posted yet:

- Panda iPod cozy from calswimgal. The white yarn has sparkles in it!
- Owl pincushion/stuffie from sewinglori: cute!
- Journal set from gala_apples. Sorry for the obscuring there: it has a big green apple on the front  Smiley
- Recycled yarn (there were 4 or 5 big balls, 100% cotton) from javastain

A group shot for my SSS8 goodies: the paper star from funthreads is already hanging from the ceiling, so the passport holder I personal-swapped with foolily for is subbing in  Wink

THANKS EVERYONE!

I received 3 more packages yesterday - now 6/10.

Birdie Puff Cushion from xladyluckx

<333 So pretty!

Beautious Button Bouquet from rockmygypsysoul

I love all the buttons that she used - very bright and colourful! Can you see the teddy bear one in the background?

Crafter Toolcase from EowynUlysses

It makes me hapy to see all my markers lined up like this, instead of in a battered cardboard box. The back is Tyvek. This will definitely get a lot of use!

This post makes me smile - so many beautiful colours!
Thanks ladies!

I received a passport holder today from foolily. We did a personal swap because I wasn't lucky enough to get one in SSS8 - but now I have one, and I love it!

Thanks Siming!

ETA: Shouldn't there be an April thread soon? *hint hint*

Hey everyone! I'm 3/10 right now. Here are the goodies I've received so far:

Star Struck Set from funthreads:

I love the paper she made it out of! They're very well made, and look beautiful. They'll go well with my light-blue room.

Crafty Magnets from raina.storms:

Already living on my bulletin board, between my schedule and samples from MPix (not my girls, of course - I'm only 14! - but aren't they cute?). Thanks Raina, they'll sure come in handy!

Ruffled Potato-Chip Scarf from brideOFkniterstein:

It just so happened that my outfit today was full of red, and matched well with the candy apple red scarf.

Red shoes, red scarf...

I also got a passport holder today from foolily in a personal swap (posted in the personal swaps thread)!
Thanks everyone!

Sorry for the long time it took for me to get the pics up!
Here are the two items that I haven't posted about yet:

Lovely nestlace from cyndiq, in silver wire with pale blue beads. I love it so much, and get compliments left and right. Sorry I didn't get a pic of the pouch. Thank you so much!

Two beautiful headbands from SewingLori.

I tried to get an action shot. It's really hard to take a picture of your head by yourself!

Thank you everyone for the wonderful goodies, and thanks to GatorWrangler and Javastain for making my first SSS so good!  Grin

20  Re: Sweat Shoppe Swap Round 8! in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by cindy_23492 on: March 02, 2007 04:11:46 PM
I'm in (but haven't been added to the list yet)!

I don't have any pics right now (so these aren't my work), but here are examples of what the items will look like:

Item #1: Felted hook or needle holders (receipient will get one of the two, depending on whether they knit or crochet)

Item #2: Neckwarmers - perfect for spring!

I will the neckwarmer in a few colours and have the receivers choose.

Sorry for the big pics!
