21  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: VINTAGE PILLOWCASE DRESS on: July 12, 2005 04:16:55 PM
Thanks rostitchery, I never thought about using elastic for the neckline and it's a good thing that I've used bias tape before for straps.  Great instructions and yes very safe. Cheesy

I love seeing little toddler dresses.  That is absolutely adorable (another word besides cute).  Did you just come up with your own pattern?  I would love to make this dress for my daughter.  Don't you just love having a little girl to make things for!!?!?! Cheesy

Hello, I was wondering if you happen to remember what the link was to the pillowcase dress tutorial because it looks as if LostCove has deleted her entry. Also, you picture isn't showing up anymore at least not for me.  But I'm sure it is the cutest little dress ever. Cheesy
24  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Help with sewing circles? on: April 01, 2005 12:55:29 PM
Are you turning it inside out? If you are then I think what might help to make it lay smooth is  if you clip the curves.  I don't know if that will make much difference in stuffing but it should help.
25  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: easy baby set pattern, very cute on: March 28, 2005 12:55:47 PM
That is really cute.  You did such a good job.  You know what would make it look even cuter is if you add some crocheted flowers on it, if you were giving it to a little girl. I will have to try this out sometime although I get scared when it comes to crocheting clothes.  Always afraid I'll end up making one sleeve way too long. Cheesy

That is really cute!!  Where did you get the pattern?  I've been looking for a pattern kinda like this.  You did a really great job.

That is so cute!!! I love suzy zoo.  I can't seem to find any suzy patterns out there anymore.  For awhile they were all over the place but now it seems that Disney's Pooh has taken over.  You did a really good job.   I like the butterflies. Cheesy
28  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: tshirt timeline quilt on: March 09, 2005 12:43:16 PM
I agree that this is one of the best t-shirt quilts that I've seen.  It looks really good.  I bet the camp was just overjoyed to get it.

Did you use fabric for the border or some other t-shirts? Looks great. Cheesy

That's so cute! I Love the blue Smiley

I know I just loved that blue fabric, I saw it in the remnant bin and just snatched it up cause it was the right price.  It has little daisies on it, I think it's from Daisy Kingdom.  That's the great thing about making clothes for babies and toddlers you don't need a whole bunch of fabric usually less than a metre. Smiley
