1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Felted purse.. on: May 14, 2006 04:42:49 PM
Hope this is in the right forum...

A felted wool purse done with crochet instead of knitting...It didn't felt as well as I would have liked, but it still felted.  Anyone else have luck with felting crochet projects http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e278/skorpiann/FeltedPurse.jpg
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Cigar Box Purses...(4 images) on: May 14, 2006 04:39:29 PM
These are so much fun to make, nothin like getting sticky glue on your hands while looking at purty pictures...

This is a floral themed purse that is adorned with rhinestones and gaudy beads...

This is the inside of the box lined with rose paper:
(that sticker on the upper left corner is my initial "K")

A fun one to take when I go out to the sushi bar...

Also lined with asian themed papers...

(I hope it's okay that I combined these two projects into one topic??)
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Hippie Patchwork Purse... on: May 14, 2006 04:34:09 PM
A colorful array of all my leftover scraps of fabrics, I am quite pleased at how it turned out...I sewed a button to keep it closed...http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e278/skorpiann/HippiePatchPurse.jpg

Helpful hints or suggestions are most welcome!
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Hippie Apron Top on: April 11, 2006 01:22:09 PM
I had no pattern for this, but a friend sent me her apron top to duplicate (hers was made out of the country i live in)...it is near impossible to find patterns for this seminole style of clothing...the back has elastic straps so it is "open" in the back for hot summer dayz...the straps button to the back near the elastic straps...i hope to make more and get better at it..

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Hemp/Wool blend crocheted purse on: April 06, 2006 08:09:08 AM
Here is a purse I made using a half double crochet and only crocheting in the front loop...I embellished the edges with a chenille yarn, it has the 3 buttons because i didn't want the corners to curl up...

6  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Organic Serenity on: April 04, 2006 12:10:39 PM
I like the triangular look to this one...it is a lap size quilt, so it went very fast...
7  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Jellybeanz on: April 04, 2006 12:09:10 PM
Here is my first twin size quilt I have made...I just machine quilted it a little bit.  The colors remind me of a jar of colorful jellybeanz.
