hello!
here is elsa

Elsa is named after an abandoned silver mining town near where i live (central Yukon, northern Canada). this is actually not a very recent pic of her - i may post another with her in more summery clothes but we shall see.......

oh she is a lightly customized Takara Blythe (Birdie Blue) - ie haircut and eyechips

cool looks like everyone has received their goodies!

Nessa i'm sooooo glad you're happy with my package - and ummm yeah i'm not sure how you got it open w/o a serious knife
the fabric totally cracked me up - it was such a debate to get you some that was pretty vs the retro woodsy 5th-wheel camper curtains that those elk(?) are - i couldn't resist the bizaare-ness of them ... i'll blame it on alaska!
anyway i totally loved knitting the sweater up - i made the cuffs extra long so you can fold them up when you baby is little and down as s/he gets bigger

here is a close up of the buttons + stiches - i've really been in to the purl side out lately:

ooo its manos #113 wool for those of you wondering what type

can't resist a couple more:

the knitting tote with navy lining + my knitting needles (hoorah!)

look at the teeny tiny envelope NessaGurl fit all this in - amazing!

me and elsa (my blythe) wearing our matching necklaces - i love how this one the colours really shift some times the beads are ice blue then are aqua green - LOVE it!

and oh my gosh the knitting tote is so amazing it has comparents for needles etc - i carry my knitting around in old plastic shopping bags like a hobo so i can't express how happy i am

http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall05/PATTflora.html for pattern!
