Haha...my fiance started calling my Pooky as a joke. Kind of making fun of silly pet names, yet it ended up sticking! And then when we moved into our dorms for a few years, the whole community started calling me that after hearing him say it to me all the time. And then spooky just fit me too! Cheesy

Plus, any association with a Pooka/Puca is a good thing, right? Tongue I want a Harvey. LoL

Absolutely incredible. I've always been fascinated by Bigfoot! (Well, monsters, creatures, myths and legends, in general, but especially Bigfoot).

I'm also incredibly amused by your handle "SpookyPooky". My mom *always* called me Pooky growing up. It was the nickname that wouldn't die. Then, when I got older, she added "Spooky" on occasion (surely inspired by my interest in all things kooky, spooky and altogether ooky). Tongue

8  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Guillotine Gift on: September 07, 2007 06:23:05 PM
For my mother's birthday, my boy and I constructed a working guillotine. It's made of wood, with silver spiderweb painted on the outside. Unfortunately, I didn't get many pictures of the guillotine before we gave it her. However, I came over and made a decapitated Barbie to sit in it and Mom loves it! I made her dress out of leftover fabric scraps and some spiderweb fishnet.

It's part of the theme of her birthday party. A Hawaiian, St. Patrick's Day theme... Strange, I totally agree.  Huh
