1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: VK Spring '07 Lace Cardi (now with pic) on: April 08, 2007 02:03:49 PM
Thanks everyone! I really do like it better than the one in the mag too. I think maybe it is the color in their pic that doesn't appeal to most people. I think this one will get a lot of wear!
2  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Sweet Pea Shawl in green on: April 07, 2007 10:18:12 AM
I still want to make this. Yours looks great! Love the green.
3  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: Cupcake Tank on: April 07, 2007 10:16:42 AM
I love it without the sleeves too! Take it back and wear it yourself. Can't let all that work go to waste!
4  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: How did I screw this one up? LOL! PICS! on: April 07, 2007 10:15:19 AM
I love the colors you chose. The hat looks great! I have loved this pattern since I got the book, I just don't have anyone to make it for. My teenage daughter is actually thinking of making the blanket a lot bigger to use as a throw on her bed.
5  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / Re: The Sheep Studio spun up on: April 07, 2007 07:38:54 AM
I am a totally newbie spinner and was thinking of trying some things from this site. What would you recommend for a new spinner (I don't have a carder or any combs or anything). I need something really easy to spin and practice with. Right now I am just trying to learn. Any help would be appreciated.
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Amigurumi monkey on: April 07, 2007 07:17:10 AM
That is so cute! I just love monkeys. I haven't tried an animal yet, I might have to now!

I like yours better than the one in the magazine too. I just got my hands on a copy this week, now I will give that one a second look. I may have to make it. I am definitely in the mood for some short sleeved sweaters.

Very pretty! I love it.

I just finished this cardi.

I have never posted before so I hope that works. I love it, but I didn't put the buttons on. I didn't like the way they were off set in the mag. I just put a piece of ribbon through the holes and I think I might leave it like that. It works, and this is how I would wear it anyway.
This was a very quick and fun project. It took me less than a week, while working on other projects too.
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: and how are you this evening....Mrs. Darcy? (now with FREE 'pattern'!!) on: April 06, 2007 06:09:47 PM
Thanks for sharing the pattern. I LOVE this sweater! I am thinking of doing a short sleeved cotton version for summer.
