2  Guess Who Game - Milly Stylee in Completed Projects by Milly on: June 19, 2005 11:11:01 AM
one of my close friends is leaving our school so as a present to help her remember our class i thought i would make her this:
i got an old guess who board and changed the faces! took a while but im pleased with the result Smiley

the big picture at the top is the girl who is leaving,

these are the cards you guess from...

and thats one of the boards!

i dont think it's very playable as there arent very many things you can say about the people to differentiate but blonde/brunette, curly hair, glasses etc may help!

hope you like it, comments and critisisms are lovesd if you have time! - can anyone thing of a good way to wrap the box? thank you love Milly xxxxxxxx

3  Re: Promalong - Making your own Prom dress? Join the club! in Clothing Sewalongs by Milly on: June 08, 2005 01:50:59 PM
so i bought this dress at a thrift store for 6$ my friend made me buy it, she thought it was the greatest, and well.. i like it an all but i dont really like the color.. this was gonna be my backup if i dont wear my duct tape dress to prom.. is it wearable for prom?

as i allready said i am looking forward to your duct tape dress but also i love that green one.
here is a picture of my friends before a prom style thing we went to
(sophie, lucy, loren, anna)

and they were vintage exept annas which she had made at the western shop
so its totally wearable and it was awesome.
still want the duct tape dress, but yeah, LOVE it.

4  raided daddys music room jewellery (i think the pictures are really big sorry!) in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by Milly on: May 30, 2005 05:17:45 AM
i raided daddys music room and glue gun and came up with these!
the neclace and matching bracelet - not pictured - was just made from various washers and treasury tags meant for homework!

and this is a barrette thing, it didnt come out too well pictured but hey, it lookd better in real life! just showing these because i think they are pretty cool!

i also found a lame pink and gold plastic belt buckle and spraypainted it black and then stuck on the things in the same fashion! i just need to find a suitable material to use to make a belt now!

hope you like them - comments/critisisms really appreciated  Smiley

5  Re: Color Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Milly on: May 27, 2005 01:30:08 PM
hey guys, theses are the things i sent to kittenporn but unfortunatly,
i sent it to wales im really sorry! so basically, the wrong adress!  i did take some pictures though, just cos it was that or revison in really sorry, heres some :
there is (which will definitly be mouldy if your not going home yet you may wana warn your mum!) a flower on an envelope

and in the envelope is these cards which i love!
on the outside there is newspaper and on the inside is a little monster then you open the card and they look like this:

they are so cute! to me anyways

then that pink thing with the white ribbon is a bag (the handles are tucked inside but they are kind of wooden... and it was reconditioned from a vintage pillowcase  (sorry theres a really bad seam in there!) and an old sarong.
the small pink and white rolled thing is a ribbon belt
the small thing is a scoubi doo weaved bracelet
the twisted things are just twisted things which hang from the ceiling and spin  i didnt make them though, they're from covent garden cos i wanted to make a bracelet, but i failed cos the ones i tried broke.
the button thing is a headband and i dont know if your mum opened the tissue paper thing, if she did ill post about it but i dont want to ruin everything!
the thing at the side is also the envelope which was awesome! lol
hope you like it and stuff! sorry i didnt check the adress.....
hope you all like guys!

and also a charm bracelet and all of the beads on it are different how cool is that! and she also sent me some more brown beads which i can put on if i find my also mysteriously lost headpins!

yeah but i got so lucky this was such a great swap and also, she sent me some origionals of her own work!

she made me some photography postcards which are a reallly great idea and i think i might actually make some of pictures of my friends and stuff then send them to them because, everyone like to recieve post dont they! they are really awesome and it might be too small but theres a medication bottle thing with capsules of beads inside! i think!

the front:
