12  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Back and forth. Forever. on: December 09, 2008 11:22:35 AM
My boy has been hinting to me like crazy that he wants this shirt. Seriously. I can't really explain what this means unless you have seen the movie Me and You and Everyone We Know, which in that case you already know what this means and are probably squeeing just like me.

it started with this:

)) <> ((

Okay, okay...I know. It doesnt mean anything...or does it? Lawl. I love it.

Without further ado, here is the extremely simple shirt I made for the boy...(also, my first stenciling project):

Here is a close-up:

It's a little bit wonky, but it will do. I didnt have any freezer paper when I made it, but it turned out decent.
I think i'm going to add "Forever." to the back.

What do you think?

So, Here is MY dilemma- My cousin and her husband just moved to town...She does piercings for a living and he....he does tattoos. They have come down to San Antonio to open a shop. MY problem is- Matt (her husband)...gives me free tattoos.
He is REALLY good, and such a nice guy.

Ok, so you have access to free, good quality tattoos.... I don't see the dilemma?  Wink

lol!

Tattoos are way too addictive. I have to keep myself from going over there to get that Moogle tattoo I've always dreamed of. I want to be a high school english teacher someday.......lol. If i could, I would be COVERED. Wink

He is REALLY good, and such a nice guy. So far I have two tattoos, both done by Matt.

Here is my first tattoo:

This picture does it NO justice. The color are actually really bright and vibrant (stupid camera phones!)

The stars each symbolize one of my sisters (using their favorite colors). The big one is actually kelly green and symbolizes me and so on an so forth. (yes, I have five sisters)

Unfortunately I dont have a pic of the second one right now because its on my ankle and we all know that its pretty damned near impossible to take a pic of your own ankle. Anyhow, its a pumpkin to symbolize my boyfriend....its a really long story, but its super cute and it makes me soooo happy!

Black suits you so well, I just hope you don't run into the same problem I did. I have naturally light reddish brownish blonde hair...I dyed mine black and now I can't get rid of it! I have about an inch of light roots and about ten inches of black hair...

But anywho- The black does look stunning with your eyes!
17  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Perfect Political Pumkin-ness! on: November 01, 2008 03:53:21 PM
I didn't actually make this stencil myself. I found it at a website called YesWeCarve.com   which is awesome, btw.

I didn't want to go with the traditional jack-o-lantern, and since this is the first pumpkin I have ever carved (yeah, my boyfriend said I lived a very sheltered childhood, and insisted that our first halloween living together would house my first pumpkin carving experience).

I had fun!

For those who arent Obama-holics, I'm sorry! But for those who are, enjoy!

Oh, and sorry for the crappy pics. My cell-phone kinda bites. Cheesy

Thanks for looking!
18  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Re: My origami & thrifty crafties wedding! (CAUTION, VERY PHOTO INTENSIVE!!) on: October 27, 2008 01:10:42 PM
Holy.Freaking.Crap!

This is probably one of the most beautiful wedding designs I have ever seen! I am in awe!

I wish my boyfriend would find the balls to propose! (he's talked about it...but I guess I'm just impatient)

20  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Medical illustration: thoracic section on: October 22, 2008 09:35:46 AM
It really is spectacular. I looked at the old one and then the new; you really have become a much better artist (not that you were bad before...my idea of art is swirlies and stick figures).

Good Job! Cheesy
