Hi I have had my sewing machine for a couple of years and ive always wanted to learn to make my own clothes...I work full time and never have set days off so cant really do a course at college but I would still love to learn to sew...is it worth trying to teach myself using books or is there a distance learning course that I could try I live in the uk xx

im doing a short course at my local college where we get to learn a lot of things. the first 2 weeks we have been felt making! before i did this course i was scared to try felting as i was scared it looked so complicated but its really easy and a cheap craft to do!
I was so pleased with my results and loved it so much that i went to my local weaving,spinning and felting shop and bought my self some more feltmaking stuff! i will post pics of that later!

also i havent finished felting this piece of work but i was so happy that i couldnt wait to share! xx lors
