1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: Art quilt Venus on: May 14, 2011 01:32:48 PM
It's beautiful. I hope your prayer will be granted. I'm also struggling with infertility and know how grueling it can be.
2  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Linguine bunnybuns... From outer space! *With pattern* on: December 30, 2010 01:43:59 PM
Thanks so much for sharing this pattern. I'm making one now, to give a friend's baby when I meet him for the first time next week. I love your design!

Great fit and a very nice color on you.
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Fitted Crocheted Jacket/top? Why Not!! on: October 09, 2007 12:35:19 AM
That is really great. I like the ruffled sleeves and the ruffle at the bottom. Just ruffly enough Smiley.
It fits you perfectly.
5  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: "Wavy" seed bead necklace *WITH TUTORIAL* (Image heavy) on: May 10, 2007 10:26:53 AM
Thank you Smiley. I'm so happy you guys like it, and I'm thrilled that you tried it out, Julz Grin. Your necklace looks great.

I think the tension of the thread makes a difference for the "wavyness". The higher the tension, the more twists. Or maybe not. Just a thought.
6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Springy sweater ...not so springy on: April 23, 2007 09:22:05 AM
That is a beautiful sweater, and it suits you really well. What yarn did you use?
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Felt Alpaca and Llama from Fiber Trends (image heavy) on: April 18, 2007 01:49:10 PM
They are really, really cute, and they look very well done. The cat is cute too.
8  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Owl, Deer and Opossum Knit Amigurumi and the tale of procrastination on: April 02, 2007 04:11:33 PM
As always, your critters are beyond cute. Congrats on the softie award, a well deserved win.
9  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Anemoi Mittens anybody? on: March 24, 2007 12:39:25 AM
I'm done! Just in time for warmer weather...  Grin

They turned out slightly too large for me,  so I'm gifting them to my mom (when I had one done, I had it with me when I met her, and she tried it on. It fit like a glove (har har Roll Eyes)).

Here is a pic:

Sorry 'bout the lack of proper daylight, but I forgot to take pics before it was time to give them away...

Rowan 4-ply in colors beet and soot, 2.5 mm needles.

This was my first stranded knitting, and a very pleasant experience. I need to practise a bit more on getting even tension. I really liked Eunnys pattern.
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Red Light Special (Norwegian Fair Isle Hat) on: March 18, 2007 12:09:25 PM
That's a beautiful hat. I'm sorry you are disappointed with the colors, I think they are really nice together and on you. I even like your colors better than Brooklyn Tweed's colors Smiley. You should definitely enter it at the fair.
