I made this kilt for him for the Medieval Faire.  The fabric was a cheap poly/cotton blend for $1/yd from Walmart, with the plaid printed on.  It really doesn't hold it's pleats well!  Oh, and I made it for him in one day!

Although I finished this a few months ago, I just now got a picture of it to post.  I'm quite proud of it, as it's the first thing I ever crocheted.  And I've never played with digital photos before either, so forgive me if I do something wrong.





I used Lion Chenille in Teal.  Because the yarn's so soft, it's quite warm even though it's lace.  

Anyone know of any really cute lace baby blanket patterns?  I've been searching on the internet and on this message board, but haven't been able to find any that are actually all lacey.  Or would that be too impractical for a baby blanket?
