I used MCalls 4303 for this shirt. It ended up looking just like a Kimono because I made the sleeves really long. Nonetheless, I am really happy with it, especially the fabric, which I absolutely love. Plus, the busy, yet monochromatic print tended to cover up my little sewing errors.
The picture is kinda wonky b/c our digital camera is on the fritz and that is the only pic that came out. My friend should be sending me some more pics and I will edit this post accordingly. I would like the ask some advice. Both times I have made a wrap dress/shirt, the neck banding has come out somewhat bunching. I just did some makeshift tucking in both cases, and it looks okay to wear, but I still know its not perfect. Does anyone have any suggestions about doing the curve of the neck so that there isn't too much material back there? Thanks in advance for the help! I hope you guys like the shirt. The pattern was easy peasy (aside from the neck) and only took me a couple hours to complete.
