11  sproinger hat! in Knitting: Completed Projects by yellowblanket on: March 22, 2009 10:33:51 PM
Here's my latest FO, a Sproinger hat. I found the pattern here http://presentsknits.blogspot.com/2009/03/sproinger-free-pattern.html
I knit it out of about a skein and a half of SWS in Natural Plum. I might try to block it into something more slouchy, but I think I like it!

I received from Feast Your Eyes! Look at all the lovely wist-inspired jewelry I got. Everything is so lovely and exactly like what I had on my wists.
I got some knitting ball and needle earrings, a gorgeous domino pendant, and a beautiful bracelet!
Thank you so much Feast Your Eyes! I love it all. I'm going to show off the earrings tomorrow!

I did a personal swap with AbbyRose and look at the lovely goodies she sent me! We agreed that I would receive 3 cloth pads, but she ended up sending so many more! I love the fabric colors and patterns and it's SO soft. I can't wait until my period comes around again so I can try them out!

Honestly, they are SO beautiful and so well made. Everything is perfect. I can't believe how spoiled I got and I've got severe swap anxiety now! I really hope that what I sent was enough...Aren't the pads pretty? They feel so soft and comfy too. I wish I didn't have to wait 2.5 more weeks for my period!

19  Best Friend Cardigan in Knitting: Completed Projects by yellowblanket on: January 13, 2009 09:32:13 PM
Here's my second FO of 2009: a Best Friend Cardigan. I knit it in a day, but it took me a couple of days to get the guts up to seam it...and the seaming looks terrible. Luckily, the chunkiness of the yarn masks the mistakes, I think. Unluckily, it's in the upper 80s here in Los Angeles. I guess I'll have to wait a good while to wear this thing.

Comments always welcome!
