1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: NICU Smocks and FREE PATTERN/TUTORIAL! on: September 28, 2010 06:50:38 PM
These are great, and such a wonderful idea!  My nephews were born at just under 24 weeks (at 1 lb 3 ozs and 1 lb 7 ozs) on Dec. 31 2008, and while one has been home since he was 6 months and is now walking, his brother just received a lung transplant.  Having clothing that goes on/off easily is a such wonderful gift, and makes such a difference.

Thank you for the tutorial!!!!

I don't even know what to say-I'm speechless. Shocked

These are phenomenal, and they totally rock.  Excellent detail, so realistic, and so tiny!  You must be incredibly patient!!

This is freaking fantastic!!!!  Love everything about it.  Halloween is great with all the fab skull, spider webs, etc on everything-the novelty fabric is wonderful.  I'm like a kid in a candy store. Grin

Regarding "plus size"-yep, its a dumb term. I like the idea of "juniors" and "womens".  Junior size is typically sized for a slighter frame, whereas womens is usually more forgiving for those of us with curves, whether a size 10 or 20.   My biggest issue is the way the clothing is cut-often it is just a case of the manufacturer making everything bigger, instead of adding darts in the right places, or adjusting the length to accommodate bigger boobs and butts.  And forget about it being flattering! Tabikat89-my hubby says the bleach won't ship because its consider a hazardous material, but I could ship you a tub of color.  Its about $9.00 US where I buy it, and then it would be another $7-9 to ship it to you.  Let me know and we can work something out!  Wink

So clever-I love the fact you can pick up rose petals and see a skirt in it!  One of the many reasons I adore you!   Wink

Best of luck on the surgery too- and I wish you a speedy recovery!!   Kiss
