2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Garden Path Shawl on: April 27, 2010 04:16:49 PM
That's really gorgeous! And it looks huge! I'm a big fan of Zephyr for knitting, but I haven't tried crocheting with it... maybe I need to.

I love the Day of the Tenticle one! I can't believe the dedication that must have taken.

6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: Ongoing ATC Swap - February on: March 14, 2010 11:59:56 AM
yay! I'm so glad you liked the cards, Krafty_Karasu. I got a little carried away... I like comics too much to resist making two!

I have been a horrible slacker about posting, but the upside of that is that now I get to show of THREE fabulous ATCs at once!

First I received this fabulous card from blupaisan for my Art Deco faces theme. I love the woman's face, and the style reminds me a lot of Erte illustrations. Love that bright color, too!

Then I got this SUPER CUTE card from Kellibeans! She did a fabulous job of stalking... Pushing Daisies wasn't even on my theme list, but check out the awesome haiku she made of it! The picture's a little dark, but I can assure you it's pastel and pretty goodness in real life (just like the show.)

And yesterday I came home to find this card waiting for me! It's my Magpie theme from yell0wbright, and it's really gorgeous. You can't tell in the picture, of course, but everything is ever so slightly dimensional, and isn't that Magpie cute? She said in the card that she was tempted to keep it, and I can totally see why, but I'm glad I got it instead! Smiley

Thanks to all you wonderful people, this has been a great swap!

That's a great idea, and makes that mailer really pop. Beautiful (and clever) work!

Wow, I'm really tempted by this swap, but the next month is shaping up to be super crazy for me.... argh. Well, I've still got some times to decide, and even if I can't, I'm really excited to see the gallery for this one.
