A huge thank you to Craftewoman for her bird pattern. I just used it to make these birds

for a wedding cake topper.

I made a base for the birds out of a piece of wood (precut from the craft store) that I painted white, then covered in faux moss.

and of the groom:


The bride (and groom!) were so happy with them. My favorite part? Their beaks! I felted them, and then carefully sewed them on.
