3  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Name that pattern! on: June 19, 2012 05:15:06 PM
Hey everyone!

I just picked up a jelly roll randomly, and am itching to try quilting. Here's my problem. I know how I want it to look, but I don't know the name of the pattern, if there is one, to help guild me along. It would be a lot better than winging it! 4  FIBER ARTS / Spinning: Completed Projects / First wheel spin on: April 02, 2012 10:40:01 AM
After lusting after wheels forever, I found a 1972 Ashford traditional wheel for $85 in an antique store, and in perfect working condition no less! During a lesson from a friend who spins, I was able to finish my first skein, at about 6oz. I had a lot of issues with overspinning, but with my second skein I have already seen improvement with that! And so, without further ado...

All quite awesome by the way.

Wow! Do you take commissions, or have a website where I could see more work? Also, do you make more than bears?

Do you have a photo of you wearing the cage skirt? It looks awesome!
