What a great way to repurpose old dress shirts.  And the resulting dress looks perfect!  I would have never guessed where it came from.
13  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Cuddly flannel nightgown on: November 21, 2008 08:11:53 AM
So sweet!  I love the pink ruffle at the bottom.  I think the pink sleeves add a nice contrast to the print of the skirt.

Boots are a great idea!  I have caught the baby shoe bug as well, but I never considered turning them into boots.  Those will keep her little legs warm this winter!

Wow, this is beautiful!  I love the color of the velveteen.  It must be so soft and cuddly in real life.

Thanks everybody!  I can't believe that Mo Willems posted about my costume on his blog.  It's in the PS here.

That just made my day!

I also would like to recommend "Pigeon Loves Things That Go." HILARIOUS, me and the boyfriend even love it.

That's a great one too, but I'd check out The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog first to get the duckling reference.  We have all 4 of the big pigeon books and the 2 board books as well.  My little guy loves them all.
