2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Ponderosa Pine Cones on: May 25, 2007 10:03:08 PM
Hi!  My friend from CO. has what he's calling "a pine cone nightmare".  I was wonder if anyone had any ideas of what we could do w/ them.  Cool yard decor?  Some sort of recycling or bedding of a garden?  He's looking for an easy way to solve his back yard dilemma.  I had a ton of projects I would do if I was blessed w/ a gold mine of pine cones, but he does not see it that way.  Any IDEAS??
3  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Help Fast for V-day!! on: February 08, 2007 09:44:40 PM
I am making a shawl wrap to wear on a date on Valentines Day, it is elegant and I've put alot of work into this project, but I've run out of the yarn I was using.  It was like a butterscotch mohair blend.  I can't find it anywhere. I've been all over the net yet all searches have come up fruitless.  I remember when I bought it I bought it in fuchsia, black, soft brown, and a multi colored blue/gray/soft brown.  I did not save a band that was around the skein and I'm desperate.  Does anyone know of a yarn guru or remembers this type of yarn.  I probably bought it in 2003.  Please Please help a girl out
4  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / What do you think? on: September 14, 2006 07:52:53 PM
I've been carving pumpkins for several years and have become quite good at it.  I make my own templates so they're original and unique.  Some business's have approached me to do some for them but I don't know what to charge.   Could you please let me know what you think is reasonable.

Thanks

6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Invitations that grow on: August 19, 2006 02:41:04 AM
I have been make invitations for engagements, weddings, baby showers, and birth announcements with homemade paper that includes a portion that has seeds to plant and grow.  Is anyone interested in anything like this?  If so I'll explain.  Everyone that I've done this for has thought it was so cleaver and unique I thought maybe someone was looking for something fresh and new to do for an invite.  Let me know.
7  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Discussion and Questions / Oppinions please on: August 17, 2006 10:47:29 AM
I've been experimenting with different floral art and I was hoping to get some feedback on one of my projects.  I uploaded it on Craftster's own free Picture Hosting. It's called "floral canvas
jmkelsey".  I'd really appreciate it if a few of you craftsters could check it out.
