1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: You Can Call Me Nannerpuss, Nannerpuss on: May 16, 2009 10:30:33 PM
Cheesy    This is the first post in a LOOONNG time I've responded to.  You have no idea how many times I've had the commercials jingle stuck in my head!  I <3 nannerpuss!!!  I hit the "This Rocks" button!  Too awesome!
2  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: coin rings! i'm an addict!!! on: March 11, 2007 05:39:59 PM
You used a regular quarter and 50 cent piece?  I used a silver quarter from 1964, it's softer than regular quarters...  The thing is, I think I might've hammered too hard, too fast?  The edge of the band seems thinner and sharper than yours...  It's also harder to read the inside of the band, because it seems to be flatter.  Yours is a little easier to read on the insede because yours is more tapered.  So, I did hammer too hard, too fast?
3  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Warning: Adult Language! Metallica Revealed. Now with more thorough disclaimer. on: March 01, 2007 11:26:48 PM
I also posted this in the paper crafts incase it does not belong here.  This is a small collage I want to decoupage on my coffee table along with some other things when I figure out exactly what all I want to do with it.  I do know that I want to put casters on the bottom of each leg, the ones you can lock so they won't roll when you don't want them to.  I cut all of the pieces out of an old Blender mag.  I have another piece that says: Awesomely Mediocre, I might use that instead of the piece at the top that says something about being awkward...  I thought the Cries Like A Bitch was perfect for Llars...

ALSO: With all due respect, to each his own.  I do not mean to offend any Metallica fans here on Craftster.  It was truly not my intent for anyone to perceive this as me disrespecting or degrading any fans.  I just personally don't care for Metallica, and I just thought this was funny....

4  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Warning: Adult Laguage... Metallica Revealed! on: March 01, 2007 11:14:45 PM
I don't know if this goes here, but here goes... This is a small collage that I want to decoupage on my coffee table once I figure out what else I'm going to do with it.  All of the pieces I cut out of a Blender mag.  I also have a piece cut out that says: Awesomely mediocre. I might use that at the top instead of the piece about being awkward.  I thought the crying like a bitch was perfect for Llars....

ALSO: With all due respect, to each their own.  I mean absolutely no offense to any Metallica fans here on Craftster.

5  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Eye Chair on: March 01, 2007 12:46:19 AM
Shocked  Shocked  Shocked I absolutely LOVE it!  I always wanted to do that with one of those little blank mardi gras masks you can decorate yourself, that you can find at any craft store or in the craft dept. of most other stores.  I've had an old school looking chair that an old boyfriend gave me out of storage, and I've always wanted to do something with it.....  It needs a seat though, but that shouldn't be hard to fix.  I hope you don;t borrow your idea.  I would want to do something similar without totally copying it.
6  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Decapitated Lime! (No Actual Limes Were Hurt In The Making Of This...) on: February 19, 2007 01:11:43 AM
OK, so I took one of those little plastic limes with the juice in it that you get at your random grocery store....

And cut it's head off, because I felt like it!  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

In turn, I ended up with a cute little toothpick holder.  Just like I wanted.  I didn't want to use a shot glass.  That just seemed so unoriginal.
7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Suitcase coffee table! on: February 10, 2007 02:31:10 AM
That's awesome.  Where'd you find the legs, or did you already have them?  I like the black, but I liked the green, too.  I don't know what color I would've chosen, but it looks great.  Not to mention the storage...?
8  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: My Sumptuous Bedroom... PIC UPDATE! on: January 10, 2007 12:55:35 PM
I mean this in the best way, Because I absolutely love your room!  It makes me think, French whore...  I do not mean to offend.  I absolutely love how everything flows together.  I envy that room.

P.S.- I was just watching House Hunters on tv yesterday, and one of the houses they showed, had that exact leopard print carpet in three of the rooms.  It's great!
9  HOME SWEET HOME / Interior Decorating: Completed Projects / Re: What the inside of a rainbow looks like... on: January 10, 2007 12:45:33 PM
What an awesome room!  What were those little plastic half spheres fixed to the wall? In the pic where you had random stuff a ttached to one wall.  It looked like you had put things in them.
