11  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / First attempts - burgeoning needle felting addict! on: April 09, 2006 05:40:52 PM
These are my first two needle felting projects. I am quite pleased with the results! I'm going to go through my first bag of wool in no time flat. Cheesy

12  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Discussion and Questions / Question: wool batt vs. wool roving on: April 04, 2006 09:42:08 AM
Hello! I'm new to needle felting, and ordered some merino roving and needles on the internet today. I'm very excited to get started. I've read through most of the tutorials on this bored, but I'm really confused about one thing: what is the difference between wool batt and wool roving? I can't seem to find wool batt for sale on any of the websites I've been to. Is it crucial to this craft, or is it mostly used as filler?
I'd appreciate any input!
