Yeah, I'll defenetly set a daily/weekly goal for myself otherwise it'll drag on forever.

Here's how far I've gotten(I was a little worried that I wouldn't like the colour, but it's growing on me Cheesy)

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you (and your clap), isisfae!

You guys are all much quicker than me, I've only done section 3 four times so far! I'm hoping to get more work done on it once school ends (hopefully I can find a summerjob where I can knit at work!)

I love the colour of your clap, zeeblebee!

Here's what I got!

(pretend that you can't see that I ate two of the candy bars, before taking the photo Grin)

Thanks Mojo Kiss I love peanut candy, unfortunately you can't get any good ones here. I've never had a '5th avenue' bar before (sooooo good!)

trillian - just today I ordered a few pairs of handles from an internet store in the uk (shipping to europe is under 3 pounds). they sell plastic handles from 75p/pair, several colours/styles to choose from. they sell bamboo handles, too. if you want to check it out: http://www.fun2do.co.uk

i was really disgusted at the price for the only kind of handles i found at nearby stores, too - 6,50 euros for two black plastic rings  Angry

Wow, those are cheap. Too bad I don't have a credit card... I've still got a month 'til my sister's birthday, so I'll try to figure out something that looks good by then Grin
25  EUROPE / NETHERLANDS / Re: A question for all you lovely dutch people! on: April 03, 2007 04:35:38 AM

I receive my swap goodies! Yay!!! I love my monkey and bunny. I'm going to call the bunny Frank Grin

I made another one! It's for my sister, her birthday is coming up (in about a month)

Still no handles, might make my own since buying them is so expensive (16e for two sets? No thanks!)
29  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: 2007 Sock-along - March challenge on page 9 on: April 02, 2007 06:51:21 AM

30  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Semlor (Swedish cream bun) *img heavy* on: March 31, 2007 09:21:42 AM
As we say in Swedish "A loved child has many names" semlor, hetvgg, fastlagsbulle, fettisdagsbulle Smiley The word semla I believe have another meaning in Finland, isn't that more similar to the bun we call "smfranska".

Live and learn Grin Never heard of "smfranska" but it does explain something I read ages ago about swedes only eating semlor once a year Wink
