11  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Fat Bottom Bag CAL... anyone? on: August 23, 2007 03:56:41 PM
I made a third one, which I gave to my aunt as a belated birthday present. And yes it really is that wonky Roll Eyes

12  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Fess up, who's got a knitting blog? on: August 18, 2007 06:10:52 AM
Laceypooh - You have a really pretty header!
How would one implement a progress bar like so many of you have? I kind of have one (sorta. . . lol) - I have just added a list on the sidebar of my blog and I type up what I am working on and list the percentages there. I'd love some bars though - and I'm pretty useless with computers Sad Can you . . . download them or something?  Huh

Look no further than: http://knitticisms.blogspot.com/2005/04/how-to-those-nifty-progress-bars.html
It's really easy!
13  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Clapotis from Knitty on: June 01, 2007 11:44:50 PM
I've finished my clap ages ago, but haven't gotten around to taking or posting a photo of it... but here is a photo of the scarf sized clap I knit for my mum (mother's day present, finished it ~30 seconds before giving it away Cheesy) The yarn is a cotton and acrylic blend, felt a bit rough in the skein but quite soft as a scarf. It took me about three days to knit, the stitches dropped really easily!

14  EUROPE / NETHERLANDS / Re: A question for all you lovely dutch people! on: May 10, 2007 04:50:18 AM
Yup, I'm going for the 1st semester, so I leave here in August and am in the Netherlands until January sometime...I'm super excited! I'm going to be studying fashion and design i think its called? It used to be design and styling I think.

Did you have any problems with the application process? It's doing my head in, I'm trying to find which courses I'd take so I can fill out a "Learning agreement" but I can't find the information. I emailed the international coordinator but she hasn't answered me yet. And the link to the "Application Form for Housing" is a dud Angry

I'd be interested in another round too!
16  EUROPE / SCANDINAVIAN/NORDIC / Re: Yarn Stores in Stockholm and/or Jnkping on: April 24, 2007 01:35:37 PM
I've never been to Stockholm but I remember reading a blog entry about Stockholm yarn shops here. Hope that helps!
17  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Clapotis from Knitty on: April 21, 2007 02:08:08 AM
I've done 10 repeats of the straight rows too. Might do a few more repeats than 12, 'cause it's looking a bit short.

18  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Clapotis from Knitty on: April 17, 2007 04:47:21 AM
I've done four more repeats of section 3 in three days, yay! (I wish it had more to do with me sticking to a goal as much as me ignoring a rather important and boring essay...)

Your clap looks great, amyb444! Wonderful colour!
19  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: My Country Doesn't Have That 8 (Ongoing) on: April 15, 2007 03:52:45 AM
Great packages so far!

I'm going to Germany on the 25th of this month (only ten more days Grin), do you guys know any good German knitting or crochet magazines? Or anything else I should be on the lookout for?
20  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Fat Bottom Bag CAL... anyone? on: April 14, 2007 12:37:43 AM
That's amazingly amazing, steen! It looks great without the circular handles!
