Great hat and thanks for the pattern.  I made one for myself and I think I'll make a few for Christmas gifts.  I'll upload photos when I can.   Smiley

I've been wearing my cuff around town and I get pretty good reactions.  Thanks for all the compliments, and I encourage you all to make one for yourself.  People get so serious about politics that it's nice to have a little humor to break the tension.

I wanted to wear something election related to work today, but if I have to listen to the extreme leftists and rightists argue again I will pull my hair out just to create a distraction from the political madness.  Why can't we all get along in a Chucktatorship?

enola- i used a grocery bag for a template.  Just cut one in half twice (so you have a quarter of the whole bag or half of one side) and cut out fabric.  I usually end up losing my template so I have to start over with a new plastic bag.  At least I'm using them for something, I guess...

Thanks! Um, I didn't have enough to make the front out of the pirate fabric so I had to improvise a little.  Wink

Does anyone else feel guilty when they use the plastic grocery bags now?  If I forget my fabric bag I try to cram as much into each plastic bag as I possibly can so I use as few as possible.  This usually turns out to be a bad idea since fabric grocery bags are so much more sturdy than the plastic ones.  But on to the pictures...

With Halloween coming up I decided to use some of my pirate fabric with sculls and cross-swords.

They fit so much stuff!

Everything I needed for chili fit into one bag.  12 pounds=lots of chili.

Such a ham.  I can't get the camera out without him ending up in one of the photos.

I may be shoving ice cream, chips, and beer into a bag, but at least I'm doing something good for the planet, right?  That makes it ok.

I agree with everyone and I want one too!  Simple and clean design.  Looks great!

I use a medium weight iron on interfacing.  The cards give it some stability too.

thanks!  I love making these because I can get two wallets out of two fat quarters.  Sorry I can't offer a tute, I'm trying to sell these.  I know how much I love trying other people's tutes, so maybe after I sell some of these I'll put a tute together.

I love the bunny cell phone holder.  Such a good idea!  I hope you post more of them! Wink
