I made this from polymer clay.  I used leaves from my oak tree, pressed into the clay, and then cut.  After it was baked, I used mica powders to enhance the coloring.  It did not get as "round" around the edges as I would have liked, so that is why I can't really call it a bowl.  But it is not completely flat, so it is not really a plate!  Call it whatever you want!

Amethyst and Pearls




Amethyst is a purple-colored quartz used as a semi-precious stone.  It is known as a spiritual stone and is used for general healing and for meditation. It is said that sleeping with a piece of amethyst beneath one's pillow promotes intuitive dreams and inspired thought. Many healers also consider it useful in the relief of insomnia and to bring serenity in times of grief. The Amethyst clears, purifies and helps with any addictions or stress or tension. Also protects against blood disease, toxic effects of substance use, acne, neuralgia and fits. Soothes and calms the mind, raises the spirit, rebalances and increases intuitive awareness, protects from negative vibrations. It is a very good idea to have an Amethyst cluster in your room because of the cleansing and energizing properties associated with it.

Gold Painted Jeans -- 1 POINT

Thrifted, stenciled and painted jeans with a beautiful fluer -de-lis pattern topped with a little hibiscus flower.  I used the new spray fabric paint on these. Low rise, Junior Size 9, 3-button closure.



White with Roses -- 1 POINT

I used fabric paints to paint these thrifted, size 10, womens, Levi jeans.  Pretty little roses running up the left leg.

I received the cutest felted animals from dragonflyducky!  They are exactly like what was on my wists!

My little birds!




This one was kinda a joke for my son who wanted a guinea pig (alive).  I told him I got him one.  He was so excited!  He laughed when I handed him the felted one.  He loves it!  It sits on his desk in his room.

I received (actually my son) a absolutely gorgeous Bob-omb from Mandylikespie!  He absolutely loves it!  She didn't even use a pattern!  Isn't is wonderful!

I thought I would post pics of the messenger bag I did for crafty+sassy.  She received on Saturday, but I haven't heard from her.  She likes rainbows and music notes, so I incorporated both.

I painted the rainbow circles and then used black felt on top of white felt to create the music notes.  I hope she likes it!

Ritapizza and I did a personal swap.  She made me the most gorgeous tye-dyed tank top.  The colors are absolutely brilliant!



She also included the cutest little fish arigurumi(?).  He is my first.  He is so adorable!

First, I apologize to quilted for not posting earlier.  Second, I cannot goet good pics of the jacket she embroidered for me!  But here goes anyhow.

I had posted in my wish list that I wanted an "embellished" jacket.  Wuilted picked me and I had a jacket that I sent to to her.  She returned it with the most beautiful embroidered flowers running along the bottom! 







It is so gorgeous!  And, it is a "One-of-a-Kind"!  I love that! Thank you so much quilted!
