1  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Re: Online Promotion Without MySpace on: July 30, 2008 10:23:20 PM
You can make it anonymous... I do not use my real last name. Many friends do not use real last name or first name. You don't even have to put in your real location.

This makes things even easier. So we send a cd with the frame if we are doing digital?

4  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: The Fabulous Tea Swap (Sign Ups July 9-16 Send outs July 30) on: July 13, 2008 12:50:55 PM

I believe what is stated means just make ONE of those things (1 hot mitten OR apron OR traveling tea bag holder..)... or make something similar? This is what I read from it.

Is this correct?

Thank you.

6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Re: Best way to make fried marbles+a suncatcher... kind of. on: July 10, 2008 12:43:13 PM
I tried the bake method they came out great but their was a smell from the marbles I have. The fumes gave me a headache and made me ill. It is not my oven because I have never smelt this smell before. So if you are going to do this way I suggest lots of ventilation. Please be careful. The marbles do look pretty though. None broke.

Your sun catcher is beautiful. I think you did great wire work.

9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Blythe Doll Clothes to Entice My Friend to Buy One... on: May 13, 2007 01:38:34 PM
Do any of you have a vintage Kenner Blythe? I want one. But the price tag on that is several months rent!

I do have a Takara Blythe.
I have Tea for Two. The first edition.

I'm looking for a Bohemian Beats or Bohemian Beats again.

I've had my Blythe for a few years around the time she first came out.

I make clothes for her out of extra scrap fabric, it gives me ideas on what I should make for myself.

What's the point of them?
We'll just something that makes you smile and have a little fun. Plus she sure is fun to sew for.

Oh what is the point of any toys?

Lots of people collect things they don't have use for. Heck some people collect rocks, and leaves.

The value often increases with dolls too.
What about the Star Wars stuff? My boyfriend collects Darth Vader things. Maybe there's no point but it makes him happy. Smiley
