1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Some Baby Blankets on: June 20, 2009 10:26:14 AM
It seems every time I get one baby blanket done, somebody else I know announces they're expecting. Oh, well. I love to make them anyways because they're faster than full size afghans!

C&C welcome!
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / A Wagonload of Pouches on: June 20, 2009 10:10:58 AM
I love sewing zippered pouches. They are so quick and easy. Plus, you don't need much fabric to make them! Here are some ones I've made recently.

Plus, a couple other favorites

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Amy Butler Pleated Tote on: June 20, 2009 10:01:31 AM
This pleated tote was really quick and easy to make. It has an inside zippered pocket; which I didn't even know I was making until I was almost done with it! I love this bag. It's the perfect size to carry my daily things, plus a book and my lunch for workdays. There are buttons that secure the handles. They are four different vintage buttons from my stash. I love this Amy Butler print. The colors are neutral enough that I can use this bag everyday.

4  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Big Granny and a Scarf on: January 25, 2009 02:22:09 PM
I just finished the scarf today (part of my destashing endeavor), and the big granny blanket has been done for awhile. I'm actually keeping both of these! Nobody has been bugging me to make them something, so I'll have some time to make myself things.

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Spiderweb Blanket for Baby & Hat on: November 14, 2008 03:35:29 PM
This was really easy to make and addictive. It was a fast easy project. I used Red Heart Soft Baby yarn.

I also made this baby hat.
6  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Chocolate Cherry Chip Scarf on: August 17, 2008 10:36:02 AM
I crocheted this scarf while waiting 4 hours for my train to arrive. 4 hours late!! Geez! Anyways, it helped me to relax and feel like I wasn't totally wasting my time. I used Red Heart worsted weight with an I hook. It worked up pretty fast.

7  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Neat-O Box feat. Vintage Fabric on: July 25, 2008 10:51:14 PM
I decorated the top of the box with vintage fabric swatches and painted it an apple green. The inside is painted a cornflower blue. And of course I had to add rick rack to the lid!

8  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Three zippered pouches from Vintage fabric on: July 25, 2008 10:45:32 PM
I love vintage fabric. I'm going to use every bit I have of it! Here are three zippered pouches I made today.

9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Polka Dot Tote for a BFF on: May 11, 2008 03:53:50 PM
I whipped this up pretty quickly this weekend. It's a gift for my best friend. We went shopping at the mall and I noticed two things: she loves green and she loves polka dots. Yay for fabric stash!! I also included two zippered pouches because I forgot to put pockets on the inside. I used decor bond interfacing so it's really really sturdy. The lining on the inside is white with little lilac colored polka dots.

Here's a closeup of the embroidery with her nickname:

And a pic of the pouches!!
10  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Help me pick my colors, Please!! on: December 26, 2007 11:05:21 PM
So my boyfriend of 5 and a half years just proposed on Christmas Eve. The shock and speechlessness has worn off, and now I am in planning mode. My question is what are good colors for a winter wedding. We plan to get married on Dec. 7th, 2008 because that is our half year anniversary and we both really love winter. Also, any other cool ideas for an elegant winter wedding are more than welcome!! Wink
