I sewed my first pouch using this tutorial http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=22875.0 It was so fast and easy!! It's also the first zipper I've ever done. I see myself making tons of these in the future. Right now I have to go buy more zippers!!

I just finished this bag this morning! I used Simplicity pattern #4178. It's my first succesful attempt at using a sewing pattern, and my first succesful handbag that I've sewn. I'm really proud of it. I just wish it wasn't so plain! I have no idea why the colors are so different in each picture, but the actual color is more like the second photo.

I used yarn from my stash and made this eight point round ripple baby blanket. Geez, what a long title! It was really fast and easy. I used a pattern from Leisure Arts New Crochet Basics pattern book. I know some people with babies on the way, so I've got my hooks goin'!!

I just finished this the other day, and for once I'm actually satisfied with a handbag I made! I crocheted it with Caron Simply Soft, the lining is from my stash, and there's a snap for closure. Thanks for looking!

I bought the stitch it kit from sublime stitching and for my first embroidery evah I made the kitty! It was really fun, but I didn't think my wrist would ever stop aching. Next time I'll hold my hoop differently. Also, the black detail is way too dark, and I didn't even think about using only 2 or 3 strands for the small details. Oh well, lesson learned!  Let me know what you think of my first try.

So I wanted to make something for myself finally. But now it's still on the couch ready for anyone who wants to take a nap. Oh well. I used good old Red Heart yarn and a pattern from the book Afghans for All Seasons. Sewing on all the roses and leaves was the hardest part because it took so long!

I got this pattern from Crochetville. It was so cute that I had to make it! It was really easy, and turned out well I think. It's small enough that I could use up some of my stash
