Alrighty everyone...today is the day to get those packages out! Let me know when you send or if you've run into any snags!

As soon as the first person sends, I'll get the good ol' gallery up and ready to roll!

Thanks!
24  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / The Grateful Thread Headband(s) on: October 09, 2007 01:04:35 PM
I wanted some new headbands, so I looked online for some patterns. The only ones I found were made of yarn. Although yarn is a good thing, it's not always the most practical fiber to use for a headband, especially if you want the band more for looks and to keep your hair back than for keeping your head warm.

So, I designed my own, named it The Grateful Thread (thanks to my witty husband!  Kiss ), and made two different variations of it, with a third in the making.

In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the fact that I like pink, this is the first one I made:

Then I decided since my daughter's school colors are gold and black, I needed one for that, too, and came up with something that could be dressy or casual:

I'll be making another as I tweak the pattern, and hopefully, I'll have it written out in a way others besides myself can understand by next week.

I plan to send out tomorrow if that's okay ^^

Sending out early is always a good thing. Smiley

Just a friendly reminder that sendouts are only 9 days away! Smiley
27  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: ****NOW WITH TUTORIAL******I made a meerkat on: October 04, 2007 09:17:53 PM
I need to pay more attention: When I first commented on this, I had no idea it was crochet, and I'm a crocheter! Geez. I clicked on the meerkat pic when it was on the first page and didn't even pay attention as to what category it was listed under.

I'm all excited now to know there's a pattern. I'm so going to make my daughter one of these. Thanks for sharing!

Personally, I'd rather craft than clean anyday! Just tell them you're a crafter and your maid is on vacation. Cheesy

Whew. I've made my list and I've checked it thrice--or more! Everyone should have their name and their partner's name listed on the first post of this thread. Everyone should have received a message with the partner info as well. Please check your profiles and make sure this swap is listed. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to message me.

Happy Swappin'!
