Cute, cute, cute! Not just the sweater, but the pup, too.

It turned out great! I see you found some more of the red yarn. When I was with you, you ran out...lol.

Love the hat...and the look on his face in the first photo. Too cute.
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Re: I'm taking on my first big crochet project... on: November 16, 2007 05:59:39 PM
Heh. I may not post much, but I'm always lurking.

I have a lot of crafting ideas, too. On Martha Stewart yesterday, she made a wreath of moss; now I want to do one, along with the other fifteen-hundred things on my list...lol. Looking forward to Sunday!
5  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Re: Cute Lil' Amigurumi Birds on: November 15, 2007 08:33:35 AM
I just got that book this week! I've been thinking that I need to make them with Santa hats so I can hang them around the house as holiday decorations. Yours are really cute!

Aww...Santa Hats would be cute!

I love this pattern, and these little guys are so fun and easy to crochet. I'm not a big crocheter of amigurumi items, but these were hard to resist. And talk about instant gratification! In less than an hour, you're done and have something to show for all the hard easy work.

The pattern is from the book Kooky Crochet. I changed up the eyes on a few of them from what the book suggested, and I added tufts of hair (fun fur) or bows to some of them. To see more about my versions, you can go to my blog post about them, but all the info you really need is in the book!

I'm thinking the next time TLCJ gets together *ahem* you should show us, er, them the blanket and get suggestions. You know that L is always full of interesting ideas.  Grin

...added in some books (most of the books I have appear not to be in the ravelry library yet)...

Right now, the only way books are being added is if there's a project posted from that book. You can go to the Ravelry Wiki and request that books be added as long as there's a project corresponding to it. And they have to be books that have a front cover listed in Amazon.
9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Re: BAS-P2 Gallery on: October 30, 2007 09:17:55 PM
If I didn't make any mistakes, this swap should officially be completed. You guys did great! I love all of the different ideas you came up with.

Be sure to check your feedback and make sure it got updated.

Phase 3 probably won't be posted until after the first of the year since lately I'm crafting like a mad-woman, trying to get my holiday gifts and such finished. Too, I'm doing NaNoWriMo the entire month of November. So for me, 2008 is looking pretty good at this point for another buttony swap.

Thanks for making this a success!

Hey gals--just a quick reminder to message me when you've received so I can update your info. If I don't get a message, and you just post here, I may overlook it. I'm a busy person and I don't have time to go dig for info. Check the first post in this thread and see if it's correct. If not, message me ASAP and I'll get it updated. I'm only checking here about once a day--more if time allows--so if you don't get an immediate response, give me 24 hours or so. There's no reason this swap shouldn't be wrapped up in the next week or so. I'll give feedback as soon as I have the proof I need that both partners have received.

Thanks! And happy buttony swapping!
