i think that is target's secret to success.  they must have people who scour the web and report to them what's hot.  i've found lots of copies of "designer" things there.

That must be pretty frustrating to spend so much time knitting something for your current size, and only being able to wear it twice or so before you get too big for it!

from another pregnant knitter, worse is not knowing if you'll ever fit into after the pregnancy!  guess it'll be motivation to lose the baby weight!

did people who didn't steek have the same big armholes problem?

i didn't steek the armholes, and my armholes weren't horrendously huge, but there's something about a steeked armhole shaping that makes it look big when it's not.  it's straight, not very curved, if that makes sense?

well, i love stefanie's style & patterns, but some of these will just not look flattering on me (like the puffy sleeve cardigan).  i do think i will knit the drop stitch tank, but add sleeves to it (and shaped armholes instead of straight).  and i need a cute little cardi that will work while i'm pregnant to go over a dress for a couple weddings i have this spring/summer so i think i'll make the carie cropped cardi.  but again, no bulky yarn on this girl, especially while pregnant!  so i'm modifying it to be knit with worsted weight yarn.  we'll see how it works.
