With Birmingham (UK) Pride weekend coming up, I read through all the threads here on stencilling and textile paint, and decided to make my own pride t-shirt. So I went out and stacked up on paint and a hobby knife, then I cut up a sponge (as you do), and this is the result:

I'm quite pleased with it!
Normally it always takes about 5 attempts to get a new technique right, but due to all the advice and tutorials here, it only took one go! So thanks to everyone who has shared their tips and tricks!

And I wish I had a picture of my face, when I was cutting the stencil and the little inside bit of the loop of the R came out too LOL
It was sort of like this:

Stupidly I hadn't counted on that one. (Yes I am blonde.) But with the help of an extra pin, and some careful dabbing, I got the job done
