1  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Suggest New Boards and New Features / Balloons? on: August 08, 2011 12:12:54 AM
As a performer I like to experiment with my balloon animal creations? There are some very crafty balloon sculptures out there, and it would be fun to share them here.
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Free hugs bear on: July 17, 2010 09:53:57 PM
I meant to create a simple teddy bear with a free hugs sign, and wound up with this. Hope the BF likes it.

3  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Tebow on: May 15, 2010 04:07:52 PM
While walking through the market area I saw a kiosk dedicated to stencil art. Most of these were nice looking, but not well done. Well, I decided I should try it. I have stenciled, but I've never tried to do the stencil canvas grunge thing. Since I couldn't think of anything I wanted, I decided to try and make one for my Bf who is a huge tebow/gators fan. it isn't as accurate as it could be because I couldn't find many good pics of tebow, but I wanted to give it a whirl anyway.

What do you guys think?

6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: How do I make this pointy piece into a pendant? on: May 03, 2010 10:25:23 AM
Think resin might be a good idea. Maybe a colorful resin base, with the 'crystal' attached with some more clear resin..
7  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / How do I make this pointy piece into a pendant? on: April 24, 2010 10:27:23 AM
On our second date my boyfriend picked up a fake crystal from a flower pot at the mall and gave it to me (my name is Krystal)

I've been holding on to this glass piece hoping to surprise him by wearing it as a pendant, but the  back side is a little too sharp to wear against my skin. I was thinking something with resin or metal, but I'm not really sure.

The proportions aren't perfect, but the recipient seems to like him anyway Grin
