1  Free hugs bear in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by gammerus on: July 17, 2010 09:53:57 PM
I meant to create a simple teddy bear with a free hugs sign, and wound up with this. Hope the BF likes it.

And the inspiration

2  Tebow in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by gammerus on: May 15, 2010 04:07:52 PM
While walking through the market area I saw a kiosk dedicated to stencil art. Most of these were nice looking, but not well done. Well, I decided I should try it. I have stenciled, but I've never tried to do the stencil canvas grunge thing. Since I couldn't think of anything I wanted, I decided to try and make one for my Bf who is a huge tebow/gators fan. it isn't as accurate as it could be because I couldn't find many good pics of tebow, but I wanted to give it a whirl anyway.

What do you guys think?

3  How do I make this pointy piece into a pendant? in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by gammerus on: April 24, 2010 10:27:23 AM
On our second date my boyfriend picked up a fake crystal from a flower pot at the mall and gave it to me (my name is Krystal)

I've been holding on to this glass piece hoping to surprise him by wearing it as a pendant, but the  back side is a little too sharp to wear against my skin. I was thinking something with resin or metal, but I'm not really sure.

4  It's a Ewok (mostly) in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by gammerus on: April 02, 2010 10:27:38 AM
The proportions aren't perfect, but the recipient seems to like him anyway Grin

5  Re: Purple Ribbon Harness and Leash in Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects by gammerus on: January 10, 2010 08:50:20 PM
Ooh that is so adorable. I am looking to make a harness for my Poppy

Named for her habit of poppin up and down all the time. In fact it has become a problem, on the leash she likes to jump up and down, and I worry about her hurting her neck so I was thinking of making a harness.

I really like your idea, but Pops has very short fur, and I think real ribbon might chafe her. But at the same time this is way too cute looking. Any ideas for a soft ribbon like fabric?

7  My pink (cluttered) room (pic HEAVY) in Interior Decorating: Completed Projects by gammerus on: July 03, 2008 03:06:47 PM
It is a pretty small room, but I like to think that it's cool anyway.

8  screaming goat (acrylic painting) in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by gammerus on: July 02, 2008 04:57:20 PM
If it is at all hard to tell, I wasn't in the best place emotionally when I painted this. I haven't named it just yet, but when I do I'll update this thread.

9  Bursting Sun (painting) in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by gammerus on: June 04, 2008 10:18:03 PM
Oops I did it again...  Everytime I paint my brush just takes over and I never end up with what I intended to paint. I was initially trying to paint a hot dog bun with a carrot in it, and well one thing led to another and I ended up with this.

10  Grapvine (painting) in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by gammerus on: May 15, 2008 01:15:22 AM
My boyfriend got me a couple canvasses for my birthday and I was so scared to paint because I didn't think it would be good enough to put on canvas... So I sucked it up, and said I was just going to pick up a brush and let it be what it would be.
