Recently I cut out the pieces to make 6 of these travel wallets following this tutorial: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=273186.0   Each of them was of different fabrics and differing embellishment.

Well, I only finished 4 of them before we all left on our travels to Costa Rica and then only thought to take pictures of the one I made for myself.  Although the tutorial was fairly straight forward I certainly became very close friends with my seam ripper for the first ones but when I got to this last one's construction I really sailed through!  Now I'm home from my wonderful relaxing and adventuresome Costa Rica trip, I have the other 2 waiting for me to complete!  Thanks for the tutorial.  And by the way everyone (including me) who used them thought they were very useful and cute!

I've made another tote for my good friend's sister who has breast cancer and is going to start radiation soon.   This is the 4th one I've made - too many women with cancer!

A few things I've made recently:  Little purse made from placemat with gecko embroidered on it for a friend who has a thing for geckos; zippered pouches made from tutorials here (THANK YOU!) and a tote lined with pink ribbon fabric ( the pouch is lined with it also).  I've made 3 of these tote bags for women who are having treatment for breast cancer and I think they turn out nicely and have been well received.  Thanks for looking!
