I was roaming through Pinterest the other day when I found a colorful image of pimped earbuds that took me to this blog. And... I wanted them! I guess I'm a sucker for colorful things Grin

I have this buckets of perler beads I bought at Ikea some time ago, so everything was perfect to start the project. It's really easy! Mainly, I followed the instructions in the blog but using one more tool: a pair of tweezers.


First, take a perler bead and cut a slit in it. If you use tweezers, your fingers will be thankful.


Then, open the bead enough to push your earphone's cord inside. For this step I used tweezers again. The tutorial on the blog said to open the bead with your fingernail, but I found it really difficult! So, tweezers it is.


And that's it! Continue until all your cord is covered  Cheesy

Hi everyone!
I'm really excited because next week I'm going to travel to London for the first time (any recommendations about interesting and/or crafty places to visit?). As I've been a journaler for awhile, I needed the perfect notebook to record this experience. I was thinking about it when I saw this post about making an accordion organizer (thanks a lot for the tutorial, Meilris) and the inspiration came.



It has a notebook part and an organizer part so I can write, stick and keep safe everything I want.



And, as my favorite color is green, it has a green checkered cover  Cheesy



I can't wait to start using it!

I discovered kusudama flowers a couple of days ago and I could't resist making a ball.

I used this tutorial: Part 1 and Part 2.

I think kusudama balls are really pretty, even if they take lots of time to be made. The paper I used is a little too heavy for origami, but it makes the ball tough and... well, I didn't have any other colorful paper  Wink

This is the box where I keep some of my craft supplies. It was a plain wood box 'till yesterday (sorry, no "before" pics) but I decided it was too boring. So here it is, painted and stenciled.

I made this gryffindor robe for my sister using two men size black t-shirts. I took the idea from a girl in the livejournal community t-shirtsurgery, who used a hogwarts polo to make the robe.

It can't be seen in the photographs, but the golden buttons in the front and back have an embossed lion.
