I set out on a crocheting adventure.  I wanted to make my 4 month old a beanie, since we live in the mountains, and its getting cool at night and in the mornings.  So, I grabbed some left over baby yarn and a hook, and got to it.  However, I made it way too big for his little nugget.  so I improvised and tweaked, and came up with this........

i got bored this morning while the baby was napping...... so of course i had to craft!  i made my daughter a peasanty gauzy circle skirt with elastic waistband, and an elf-like hat to match.  so, without further ado.....

i posted this in the baby blanket CAL as well... Im preggo- due in may- and wanted to make a blanket for the baby.  We never found out if its a boy or girl, but i keep calling it him so i think its a boy.  This is the first blanket i've ever crocheted.... so it kinda turned out huge!  its a 42 inch granny square, but itll definately be comfy for the baby well after its an infant.



What do you think?  comments and constructive criticism welcome... as i am new to crocheting and can use any pointers advice anything.

hey guys!  i am new to crocheting.  Just taught myself bc i couldnt learn from my mom or mother in law.... they both crochet weird like backward or something... so i went ahead and did some trial and error.  here are the end results from my first completed projects.

so i made my 5 year old a dress last night.... we had gone to AC Moore and i let her pick out her  colors for the dress.  this is the first dress i've successfully made that fit her.... its a little big on the top, but if she wears a tank under it, it'll work till she grows into it.

Its saturday, and i was bored this morning so i decided to make a new sock monkey..... but then i wasnt really feeling a "monkey" with these socks, so i made a monster monkey instead.  Hes a cyclops and i named him Blinkie.
