this little one is Lilac. she's my first cupcake doll. thanks to ghillie for her awesome patterns!  her hair_is a bit wonky. I'm wondering which hair technique works best for a beginner.

ok i was feeling a little goofy and creative, so i decided to use some stash yarns and make an elfen type hat.

My daughter wanted me to make her a pink hat, and my mother in law had given me this super bright pink yarn that was left over from a blanket, so i got to hooking.  I did not use a pattern for the hat.  The flower I did use a pattern for, since I could not remember it off the top of my head.

She was upset because she went outside to play while wearing it this morning, and her friend did not compliment her on it.  I told her I was going to post it on here, and she said maybe your people will like it.  SO, and comments or criticisms are welcome

I set out on a crocheting adventure.  I wanted to make my 4 month old a beanie, since we live in the mountains, and its getting cool at night and in the mornings.  So, I grabbed some left over baby yarn and a hook, and got to it.  However, I made it way too big for his little nugget.  so I improvised and tweaked, and came up with this........

i got bored this morning while the baby was napping...... so of course i had to craft!  i made my daughter a peasanty gauzy circle skirt with elastic waistband, and an elf-like hat to match.  so, without further ado.....

i posted this in the baby blanket CAL as well... Im preggo- due in may- and wanted to make a blanket for the baby.  We never found out if its a boy or girl, but i keep calling it him so i think its a boy.  This is the first blanket i've ever crocheted.... so it kinda turned out huge!  its a 42 inch granny square, but itll definately be comfy for the baby well after its an infant.



What do you think?  comments and constructive criticism welcome... as i am new to crocheting and can use any pointers advice anything.

ok, i finally finished my baby blanket...... im pretty sure im having a boy.... just a feeling, so i made a brightly colored blanket that can be used for either boy or girl.  it turned out huge tho.... its a 42 inch granny square blanket.  so the baby will be able to use it well after its not a baby anymore
