Yeah, Crafts is Fibers/Ceramics/Metals/Wood/Glass. Most people concentrate on one, but you can float around or double concentrate. I really want to take Intro to Jewelry next semester. Haha, and yeah, we're all about non-traditional, hell, my teachers get irritated because I mainly do garment work.

Ah I'm kinda jealous. I have an intro to sculpture class next semester where I apparently get a little more freedom, but I think I might take some classes in the summer, money permitting. I really want to work with those things as well.

Btw, I saw it at the flower show and it looked great. The flower arrangement that was inspired by it was right on target too. When I upload my pictures to my computer, I can put some up for you in action if you want.

No worries! And that story about you sewing the dread back on is really cute!

I know its partly about growing them, but the ends were getting a bit straggly, and I love them short. When they were long, they sort of curled round my face, then went out again. Now that I have a bob, they still curve round my face, if that makes any sense at all!

And I really like that I can't tie them back now, although dread plaits do look cool.

I hope no one has a problem with them, but they are implied nudes, so I included links instead to the whole images.

I only have the back done obviously. They've been dyed a bunch, and I have weird sticky uppy and loose hairs.  Some parts have been ripping off from thin spots of hair. Not perfect at all. I use non residue soap and a metal comb..think that crocheting or even sewing would do them some good, but I haven't figured out how yet.

I've had my dreads for about 9 or 10 months now, and I love them to bits! They were getting a bit straggly fora while, but I trimmed them and now they seem fine. I have the dreadhead hq shamppoo which is residue free, and I wax them everynow and again, otherwise it builds up. I have some cocunut natural oil conditioner too, which is nice to smooth them out sometimes.

When I did them, I used a combination of specialised dread metal combs and head lice combs, both of which worked fine.

I would love to do a swap, never done one before!! =D

Mitsie99, I lOVE LOVE LOVE the black and white dreads.  Mine are just ugh brown, but every time I look in the mirror I am surprised at how long they are.  They will be 5 in February, and there are 51 of them.  Finally, here's a pic!
