604  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: Printing on Muslin Fabric backed with Freezer Paper on: May 15, 2006 11:50:12 AM
You might also want to try Premium Cotton Lawn Inkjet Fabric by Electric Quilt Company. Their website is www.electricquilt.com and if I remember correctly, the fabric can be a little spending, but I think it is worth it. I used this for my son's highschool graduation quilt and part of the process is soaking the fabric after it is printed, so I know the colors don't run.
605  CRAFTING FOR GOOD AND NOT EVIL / Crafty Charitable/Social Causes / Re: Hi! Need help making pillow blanks for cancer patients on: May 15, 2006 10:36:56 AM
When I leave work today, I will be stopping at the post office to send you a box with some unstuffed pillow blanks. Hope this helps. I will try to do more in July.

Glad you like the name - when my Mom was pregnant with me, my Uncle wanted her to have a boy so bad that he figured if he gave me a boys name before I was born, I would have to be a boy. Obviously, that didn't work!!

607  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Matisse Quilt - An Art Quilt (my first one!) on: May 11, 2006 03:42:54 PM
Good work. The thing I like about creating art quilts are that there aren't alot of rules. It's your art, so you should do it your way. Keep it up.

Kiki_eks - That is the Hawthorne that I see - would help if I thought about it for awhile. I am actually just under the Ross Island, than I see the Marquam and than the Hawthorne. I wonder how many Portlanders I run into everyday are on this site?
