2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / fabric? on: December 04, 2007 07:07:09 PM
I've been dying to whip up some cute clothes but the only fabric store near me is Joanns.  I pretty much hate all their fabric.  I can't explain why but nothing appeals to me.  Does anybody have some secret awesome fabric place they get theirs from?

Thanks for all the help everyone!  I've been away from Craftster for a while and remembered I posted this.  I'll definitely look into those.

5  COOKING / Vegetarian / Vegan / Re: Banana oatmeal cookies on: July 02, 2007 07:50:25 AM
I was just about to have some cereal with banana and then I reached for the bananas and was like eww.  They got ripe fast!  So I made some more of these!  They're in the oven right now, I can't wait.  I'm gonna try them with peanut butter this time I think.

The last time I made them, I had 2 in a bowl next to my couch.  I got up for something and I came back and there was only 1.  It seems my dog liked them too!  Cheesy

That is soooo pretty!  I would definitely buy one and I LOVE the floating effect...I think it makes it a lot more interesting to look at.  I don't know about pricing unfortunately.

Thanks for sharing the recipe!  I actually made them this morning and they were delicious for breakfast.  I had to improvise a tiny bit though: I didn't have any vanilla extract left so I used almond and butter extract instead, but it was still delicious  Cheesy
