# of people needing an angel: 1

Alas, no flakage here, just a missing package. I need an angel for a swapper in Australia (lovely_gangster). The package needs to be 8x11 (A4/C4) in size with a mix of papers ranging from the size of the envelope to bits and bobs of smaller pieces.

Please PM me if you're interested in angelling.

Thanks!

I received 4 sets of earrings this week. Lots of fun to find these envelopes in the mailbox when I got home from school.

First up is a lovely simple pair from Tara1979:

Thank you, Tara! They're lovely!

~*~

Then a cute chandelier set from 3beadgirls. I actually have these beads in my bead box, but for another project!

Thank you, 3beadgirls! They're such fun!

~*~
Then a funky set of dangles from reethi. My daughter is currently fondling them. Smiley

Thank you, reethi! They're a perfect match for most of my clothes

~*~

Last but definitely not least is a great pair from spunkyPOPmonkey. I love the colour combination.

Thank you, spunkyPOPmonkey! I look forward to wearing these lovelies!
15  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / Talk About The Swap Process / Re: when to post ORGANIZER feedback? on: October 04, 2006 04:25:59 PM
In a swap I organized I had some issues with a swapper and was concerned that they might not inform me when they received (from me) even though the swapper had sent out. So I was considering witholding their postive. I asked in the help desk and was told to give feedback since she had met the requirements for a postive feedback.

In the current swap I'm organizing I had a number of people who had met their sending requirements and therefore had their postive feedback, not tell me at all that they had received from their partners. I simply went in and changed their postive feedback comments to reflect their crap communication. The ability to change the comments after changing the status for the swap is useful.

I posted my feedback as complete as if I was just another swapper -- as soon as my partners received, I had my postive.

You're welcome, loves2! and Thank YOU for your patience with me. Wink

The bobble pouch is unlined, since I used cotton yarn and the inside was very tight and smooth. The zipper is hand sewn on, and not my best work. (I hate hand sewing with the fire of a million burning nuns.)

Both pouches are from One Skein. I did try the third bag in the set but it looked horrible so it was abandoned.

Seems that the images aren't being fetched from my server each time. If you can't see them, do a force refresh (hold down shift and click refresh/reload) and see if that works. I ad to do it twice before they showed.

I received my earrings from Miss Violaceous!

Check out this gorgeousness:

The smaller beads are a Jasper (she said she thinks it's picasso jasper) and the daisies are hand cut glass. They're gorgeous and go perfectly with a bracelet I already have!

Thank you so much, Miss Violaceous, I love them!

This is my 3rd and final claim until someone receives from me.

Rosali, could I please have the "Oriental style floral cotton FQ" and the "Plants and tidal waves FQ"?

Thanks!

My fabrics are here and they want to be used!

In updating my database for this swap tonight I realized there are a number of parcels that I haven't been informed if they've arrived -- so I checked with USPS using the DCNs.  Angry

If you have received a parcel for this swap, check your partner's status on the information post, and if they are still showing green you MUST SEND ME A PM.

At this point in time, the people who are showing on the USPS site as having received their parcels (some over a week ago!!) will receive a "needed to be reminded to communicate" note in their feedback if they PM me within the next 48 hours. Otherwise I will leave feedback that says "did not communicate, poor swapper."

Communication with your organizer is a fundamental part of the swapping system. That I have a list of people that haven't PMed me to say they've received is crap. Especially with the new swap rules -- you're holding back another person who has met their responsibilities to move onto another swap.
