1  May Day Bath Salts and Fragrance in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by asleepyfrog on: May 12, 2007 02:07:39 PM
I made May Baskets this year for family and friends.  The bath salts are  made with epsom salts, sea salt and baking soda and Brambleberry's Berry Wine FO.  That is the first FO I've purchased from them that wasn't as I expected, it is more like grape koolaid, but I guess that's appropriate for summer.   The fragrance is jojoba oil, Brambleberry's "Almond Biscotti" FO, and their copper mica.  I didn't have any roll-on perfume containers so I guess it is really "daub-on".  Smiley

2  Cocoa M&P soaps in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by asleepyfrog on: April 09, 2007 09:02:46 AM
Thank you for those who posted about using real cocoa powder in soap, and also the idea of sprinkling cinnamon in the molds, I couldn't have made these without you.  Wink

The lighter colored ones have lumps of cocoa powder in them, because I forgot the part about taking a small amount of soap and mixing in the cocoa really well, THEN mixing it into the main batch.  The darker bars mixed in much better but still are a little grainy.  Then I realized my hot cocoa is always a little lumpy, so it's either me, or Ghiradelli cocoa powder.

3  Soap Cake in Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects by asleepyfrog on: February 11, 2007 04:44:10 PM
Here is my first "soap cake" attempt.  It is M&P and I used a silicone bundt cake mold for it.  The mold did peel right off like I thought it would.
