1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Hobo bag? on: May 28, 2005 12:45:07 PM
hobo bag from urbn.com

I've been lusting over this bags design for weeks but I have never really made a *good* looking purse before. I would buy one but I don't have $42 bucks laying around and I want it in a differernt color, minus the sequin. (I am not a very flashy type of girl)

Has anyone seen a pattern for this bag or tackled or made their own? I check Hancock Fabrics with no luck Sad
2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Cowl Neck Boho pink top & 1st post! on: November 24, 2004 01:17:47 PM
here is my first post containing th 1st cowl neck t-shirt fabric shirt that I have ever made. I would post a tutorial but I cheated. I hacked up an old cow-neck shirt and used it as a pattern and I added the little bottom part to make it my own creation. If I had to do it again I would have made a newspaper pattern and made the top bigger because it's too small for me. I think only a 100 pound girl who wears a size 0 could wear this thing properly (I had trouble taking it off it got stuck...)

Someone pointed it out to me that I kept misspelling cowl neck and calling it a cow neck so I fixed it  Grin
