1  Bamboo planter pots in Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects by Tanza on: April 05, 2014 12:20:48 AM

I have 3 lucky bamboo in my kitchen and wanted to make a set of tall planter pots for them with water slide decals.

These are hand build Raku, 2 were covered in earthernware slip, not to self the 2 bodies don't mesh so well, the 3rd I painted with a white glaze only.

The images were applied as water slide decals.

I love the way they turned out.

Wulf I love that flag it is so beautiful in it's simplicity.

I must apologise that I am only now posting a photo of the lovely flag that Rosie sent to me even though I have had it for a week..everything seemed to get hectic for a bit. Smiley

Faith was her chosen word and I love the quote.

4  Challenge: Man on Fire aka The burning man in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by Tanza on: July 09, 2012 05:02:25 PM
I made this one up. It is a photo of my hubby that I spent hours photo shopping to resemble the BURNING MAN.

I loved the idea of the Burning man the freedom it represents.
We don't have anything like it in Australia.

I hope you like it as much as me. My favourite parts is his fire wings.

I have just finished my course in ceramics and these are the wall piece I made. The theme was shoreline.
and it was more difficult than one could imagine until you broke it down into smaller things, like what you would find on the shoreline.

I really LOVE trees so they featured high on my list of things to make.
These are my wind chimes

My starry night candle sconce

my wall mangrove flats hanging

My Lit up tree on tree. This ones has solar lights and hangs on the wall.

10  Re: One Tiny Stuffie Round 6 Gallery O' Goodness in The Swap Gallery by Tanza on: July 20, 2011 05:10:01 PM
I can't believe the awesome start this gallery has gotten off to.
I hope my little fellow when he arrives can keep up with all these new additions.

I recieved a fabulous little fellow a few days ago and he's been hanging out begging me to hurry up and post his photos.
I told Silvermoon I am not into cutesy type dragons so she tried to make a fierce little fellow, She nailed it but he is so cute because he is trying really hard to scowl at me. I LOVE him.

here he is looking over my machine wondering if there is anything good to eat down there......sadly NO there's no jewels or shiny stuff.

I do believe he could look around corners too.

and here he is hanging out above my work space with all his new buddies, although I do believe that he thinks he is so much better than they are hehehehe.
